Licensure Testing

365体育投注网Prior to student teaching, candidates must pass the special education content exam in their licensure area (Test # 043 for MAIS majors and 013 for ECSE majors). Prior to applying for licensure, and in addition to the content area exam, candidates must pass all remaining Ohio Assessment Exams (OAEs) required for their area of licensure. For MAIS these include Foundations of Reading (090), and Assessment of Professional Knowledge: Multi-Age (PreK-12; test 004). For ECSE these include Foundations of reading (090), Assessment of Professional Knowledge: Early Childhood (PreK-3; test 001), and Early Childhood Education (012).

Note: Not all testing sites are equipped to provide alternative testing arrangements. If you are entitled to testing accommodations, it is highly recommended that you register early (at least 3 weeks).
